Launch of Credence Data Trust Rating System
Today we launched Credence Data Trust Rating System witnessed by MOS Tan Kiat How.
Over the last decade as the world economy continues to be further digitalized, the role of data in the corporate enterprises continues to gain importance. It is a source of competitive edge for many major technology companies that compete to win customers through better services. Companies have leveraged on data to build better AI engines that made them market leaders. A data trust rating system is required to provide a neutral, independent, robust and objective way to assess and certify companies on their data policies and processes, to ensure that they provide adequate protection of data especially those of a sensitive nature, respect data subject rights, comply with applicable legislation, and minimize the risks of data breaches and have the ability to recover quickly in the event of such breaches.
Over the past year, we had the privilege of working with the best in class companies to develop the Credence Data Trust Rating System.
We would like to thank members of the Credence Committee namely Mr Richard Hong, Mr Satya Ramamurthy, Mr Martin Chee, Mr David N. Alfred, Prof Mak Yuen Teen, Mr Calvin Chu, Mr Royce Wee, Mr Raju Chellam, Ms Yip Man & Mr Benjamin T P Tan for the journey over the last 9 months and for work ahead.
